This project marks a shift from the pervasive familiarity of the suburbs and the disillusionment of wilderness, towards a raw landscape relatively unfamiliar to the general public. Begun in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2007, I have plans to add new images from Northern Manitoba and Quebec in 2008. These areas are actively being opened up to the public by commercial enterprise and environmental interests.
